Thumbnail folders
One folder per published paper (folders 01-14). Working papers (conditionally accepted / in revision / under review) intentionally have no thumbnails — their visual content/figures may still change before final publication, so we’re holding off until they’re formally published.
Each folder now has a PDF of the paper. Claude extracts a candidate figure
from each PDF, crops/resizes it to a thumbnail, and presents picks for
review before wiring up the image: field in _data/publications.yml.
